The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a best practice IT Service Management frame work developed by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in the UK government. It has been developed in collaboration with leading industry experts, consultants and practitioners over the last 20 years. Since its launch, ITIL has been widely accepted through out the world. It is now seen as the de facto standard for Best Practice in IT Service Management.

This five day certification course will provide you with a solid understanding of what ITIL V3 comprehends, where ITIL V3 differs from ITIL V2 and more importantly what ITIL V3 has to offer your organisation.

Course Structure

This course is instructor-led with limited class size. It includes a half-day workshop which help you to determine if and how ITIL V3 can help to make further improvements in your organisation.

• Discussion on the impact ITIL V3 has on your current process maturity and on any current ITIL initiatives
• Transition to ITIL V3 or stay with V2?
• Costs and benefits of ITIL V3
• Developing your ITIL V3 roadmap

Examination

This ITIL V3 Service Manager Bridging Course is tailored to meet the requirements of the ITIL V3 Diploma qualification offered by the international ITIL Examination Institute APMG. The exam is a 90-minute, 20-question multiple-choice examination scheduled on the last day of the course. A pass mark of 80% (16/20 correct answers) is required to receive your certificate.

Who Should Attend

The ITIL V2-V3 Manager?s Bridging Course is appropriate for everybody who holds a valid ITIL Manager?s certificate.

ITIL Foundation Certificate and ITIL V2 Service Manager's Certificate

1. Those areas and components that are new to ITIL V3 that will form the main focus for the qualification
2. Those areas and components that were well known at V2, but have undergone some significant differences
